UUCC Choir Rehearsals Resume In-Person, Outdoors

You are invited to sing! The UUCC Adult Choir will resume in-person rehearsals outdoors on the UUCC patio. All in-person rehearsals will require social distancing and masks at this time. Join us before the service 9:30-10:30 am on Sunday March 6 and March 20. All are welcome and no prior experience is necessary. A link will be shared so singers who would like to participate virtually can attend on Zoom.

Carita Barr, Member: Growing up in a Lutheran state-taxed church, I never was very religious. But 40 years ago, I heard about Unitarian Universalism through friends. I found a home here where this diverse religious community really works to better our world. Respect and honor for the “other” is the main ingredient in our cooperative efforts as a movement.

For much of our married life, we were without a church home, but felt our lives would be enriched if we could find a place where we were part of something greater than ourselves. The UUCC became that place. There, we’ve made great friends, enjoyed meaningful fellowship and found a sense of peace. It’s just what we were looking for.
