I first became a Unitarian Universalist in early adulthood. It was a perfect fit for me – a place where I could express my liberal views without fear of condemnation. I attended my first UU church in Arlington, VA.

After my husband and I moved to Columbia with our two sons, we began attending service at UUCC. I have been a member here for eleven years. One very special joy in this congregation is serving as a religious education teacher for the preschool classes.

I was first hired by the congregation in 2011 as assistant bookkeeper. In 2012 I became the administrator for our congregation. I love working here. My job allows me to get to know the members in a very special way. It also presents me with many avenues for meeting my desire to help others whenever I can.
