CYRE Classes

CYRE Class Every Sunday (in-person)

You are invited to join us every Sunday as we return to meeting in person for engaging ritual, learning and reflection for ages 4-18. We will always meet outside on the patio, weather permitting. Questions regarding your youth? Want to volunteer as an adult advisor/ teacher for a Sunday? email Mckenzie at reassist@uucolumbia.org. The nursery is available before and during the services for children ages 0-3.

Children & Youth

Children & Youth Religious Exploration Programs address UU principles and purposes, our Jewish and Christian Heritage, Peace, Social Justice, the Interdependent Web of existence, World Religions, and Personal Spiritual Growth and Development.

Dress

Children and youth are encouraged to dress to have a good, and possibly messy, time.

We were looking for a church where we felt accepted both intellectually and spiritually, a place where all people and religions were regarded equally without condemnation. Our search began at UUCC six years ago and we never had to look any further. We found our place here with a community of like-minded people and it became our second home, our second family.
