We’ve had well-publicized culture wars about things like Feminism and Gay Rights, but culture is a very big thing! The current “culture war” is being waged over things like the limits of free speech, “cancel culture”, and “political correctness.” This particular culture war is going strong among Unitarian Universalists.

This is a place where I can always find big smiles, warm hugs, and stimulating conversations. It is easy to get involved and quickly become part of the group.

For much of our married life, we were without a church home, but felt our lives would be enriched if we could find a place where we were part of something greater than ourselves. The UUCC became that place. There, we’ve made great friends, enjoyed meaningful fellowship and found a sense of peace. It’s just what we were looking for.

Our search began at UUCC six years ago and we never had to look any further. We found our place here with a community of like-minded people and it became our second home, our second family.
