UUCC provides many opportunities for members, friends, and community members to come together for the purpose of bringing greater awareness and understanding about issues of fairness and equity through Social Action.

So Just What Is Social Action Anyway? So glad you asked. We are a group with a mission aimed at taking action toward improving Social Justice in our community in many ways. Sometimes that Social Justice takes the form of assisting people in need and other times it means working toward a cause for those that are being mistreated or a challenge that demands fair treatment. Our activities range from feeding the homeless, helping families at Christmas, or rallies against at the State House for different issues, participation in the Pride Parade, significant collection of monies each month for charitable or social justice organizations through our Share the Plate program, educational programs for the community, and the list goes on. So yes, we are social and we are active! We invite you to come and be a part of our group.  Find out what we’re doing now here. See what we’ve done in the past for social justice here, and see our charitable activities here.

Please join our meetings, which are scheduled the fourth Sunday of each month at 12:30pm in the sanctuary of our church.
