Thinking Outside the Gender Box, Following Service
12:45pm. Join us for a community conversation that will help you understand some of the basics about the transgender community and learn how you can become a desperately needed ally. We will have four speakers and then a Q&A panel discussion. You are also welcome to attend our Sunday service at 11am for an introductory sermon. A light snack will be served in between. This event is FREE and open to the public. Please bring your friends and neighbors. I still need more people to bring food. Carita Barr, Member: Growing up in a Lutheran state-taxed church, I never was very religious. But 40 years ago, I heard about Unitarian Universalism through friends. I found a home here where this diverse religious community really works to better our world. Respect and honor for the “other” is the main ingredient in our cooperative efforts as a movement.
