Opportunity Named Failure

Every Day when we awake and move about we fail at something. I will challenge you to look at your concepts of Success and Failure for spiritual wholeness. For some failure is not an option. However, by looking at how each of us depicts “Failure,” we can learn how to assert grace within our successes.

Carita Barr, Member: Growing up in a Lutheran state-taxed church, I never was very religious. But 40 years ago, I heard about Unitarian Universalism through friends. I found a home here where this diverse religious community really works to better our world. Respect and honor for the “other” is the main ingredient in our cooperative efforts as a movement.

The UUCC became that place. There, we’ve made great friends, enjoyed meaningful fellowship and found a sense of peace. It’s just what we were looking for.
